Clay Art Center’s line of lead-free Underglazes offer excellent performance through a range of firing temperatures. A traditional matte surfaced underglaze, pair with your favorite clear glaze (temperature/body appropriate) to achieve a gloss effect.
They may be used on greenware or bisque.
Optimum color brilliance can be expected under oxidation firing conditions between cone 06 to cone 1.
