A 19" x 20" decagon shelf designed for top-loading round kilns. Measures approximately 5/8" thick. Designed for a 1027 3" brick kiln. Recommended for firing up to Cone 6.
Round Shelves vs. Multi-Sided Shelves:
There is no practical difference. Even though a multi-sided shelf will fit closer to the contours of most top loading electric kilns, it does not increase the amount of usable stacking space. This is because most pots are larger on the top than on the bottom and thus hang off of the shelf at the top anyway. The round shelf actually improves heat circulation within the kiln.

Caution: Because of the wide variety of applications that kiln shelves are subject to, neither the manufacturer, Laguna Clay Company, nor The Potter's Center are able to guarantee their performance to the purchaser. The purchaser must inspect all kiln shelves for defects in material or workmanship upon receiving, as claims after that date will not be accepted.
