Teapots! If you've been interested in learning all the parts of a teapot and how to make one, this class is for you! Join instructor Anna for focused 3 week class where you'll learn to throw, trim, assemble and glaze your own functional teapot! Perfect timing for the cooler weather! This class is for throwers who are ready to refine their skills and explore form, function and design. This class is for all levels, from advanced students to those who have taken a few classes and are comfortable with centering on the wheel. With this class you will also have 4 hours of studio time to use outside of class in studio B during Open Studio work hours.
This course is for students ages 18 and up. Class meets once a week for THREE weeks on Dec 5-19 from 9:30am-12:30pm in Studio B at the Potter's Center in Garden City.
Students must bring their own tools or purchase a tool rental kit. At the end of the class, you can choose to: Keep the tools and receive a 25% discount, or Return them for a refund
