This wheel-throwing class with Julia covers the essential techniques of wheel throwing and glazing. This course is for beginning and intermediate students ages 18 and up. Each week, you’ll receive 4 hours of time to practice and explore at your own pace during posted open studio hours. The class meets once a week for 5 weeks on THURSDAY mornings, July 2-30 from 9:30am-12:30pm.
CLAY: With your course enrollment you'll receive 25# of B Mix clay on your first day of class. This clay is non-refundable and non-exchangeable. With your class enrollment you'll be assigned a cubby to use for the 5 weeks to store tools, clay, works in progress, apron, etc. Cubbies will need to be cleaned out on the class session.
At the Potter's Center all wheels have bat pins installed and we use bats for throwing classes . Students must bring their own tools or purchase a tool rental kit, which includes 2 bats. At the end of the class, you can choose to: keep the tools (at a 25% discount), or return the washed and re-assembled toolkit to process a refund.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
All classes, private lessons, and special events are fully refundable up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time. To cancel and receive a refund, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made outside these terms.
