Cole is a well-established local artist who specializes in all things hand-built and wheel-thrown and brings a passion for clay and craft to the classroom! This course is for beginning students ages 18 and up. The class meets once a week for SIX weeks on TUESDAY nights, February 3rd-March 10th, from 5-8pm.
This beginner wheel-throwing class covers the essential techniques of both wheel throwing and glazing. Each week, you’ll also receive 4 hours of open studio time to practice and explore at your own pace. This class and its associated open studio hours will be held in Studio B of the Potter's Center.
Perfect for adults new to pottery, coming back to pottery from a long absence, or looking to refine their skills! This beginning class comes with 25# of BMix clay that is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Students must bring their own tools or purchase a tool rental kit. Wheels at the Potter's Center require a bat to throw, and 2 bats are included in the toolkit. At the end of the class, you can choose to: Keep the tools and receive a 25% discount, or Return them for a refund.
