Perfect for adults new to pottery, returning after a long break, or looking to advance their skills!
This pottery class with JoAnna covers the essential techniques of wheel throwing and glazing and will be suitable for a beginner or intermediate student. The instructor will work with students on individual projects and conduct demonstrations for the class. Each week, you’ll also receive 4 hours of open studio time to practice and explore at your own pace. With your enrollment you will receive a cubby for the 6 week class for you to store your clay, tools, apron, works in progress, etc.
Must be 18 and up to enroll. Class meets once a week on TUESDAYS for 6 WEEKS from April 9-May 14 at 6:30pm-9:30pm.
CLAY SELECTION: With this course 25lbs of B-Mix clay is included. We are now offering students the option to pick from a few different clays for an additional fee. When checking out you can add the class to the cart and then add your clay option ("add-on clay") if it is different than B-Mix. For our beginners we recommend B-Mix clay.
Students must bring their own tools or purchase a tool rental kit. Wheels at the Potter's Center need a bat for throwing, and 2 bats are included in the toolkit. At the end of the class, you can choose to: Keep the tools and receive a 25% discount, or Return them for a refund

All classes, private lessons, and special events are fully refundable up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time. To cancel and receive a refund, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made outside these terms.
