This HANDBUILDING course (not on the potter's wheel) with Jess meets at our Garden City location and is for all levels of students (age 18+) and is suitable for beginners, individuals coming back to ceramics after a long absence, or those with experience who want to refine their skills. Jess will conduct demonstrations each week to increase your handbuilding skills in construction and surface development.
This all levels course is for students ages 18 and up. Class meets once a week for FIVE weeks on MONDAY nights. (No class on Labor Day, September 7th.) Class dates are August 10-September 14, from 6:30pm -9:30pm. Each week, you’ll also receive 4 hours of studio time to practice and explore at your own pace outside of class during open studio hours.
CLAY SELECTION: With this course 25lbs of B-Mix with grog clay is included. We are now offering students the option to pick from a few different clays for an additional fee. When checking out you can add the class to the cart and then add your clay option as a variant with a $5.00 add-on cost (if you want clay that's different than B-Mix with grog). For our beginners we recommend B-Mix clay! (You need to purchase the add-on clay option at minimum one week before class begins.)
Students must bring their own tools or purchase a tool rental kit. Wheels at the Potter's Center need a bat for throwing, and 2 bats are included in the toolkit. At the end of the class, you can choose to: Keep the tools and receive a 25% discount, or Return them for a refund.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
All classes, private lessons, and special events are fully refundable up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time. To cancel and receive a refund, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made outside these terms.
